My beautiful discus fish in 600 litre aquarium Video
Just got this new tank and the present inhabitants include:
7 discus (red and blue turquoise, red melon, yellow cristal, pigeon blood, blue diamond)
4 clown loaches
1 pleco
11 neon tetras

@connorconard yes, you have to change 50% water weekly, or even twice a week. If you can commit to this, they will live healthily ever after :)

Yes we do! We connect the hose pipe from the bath directly to aquarium :) Well, through RO system. But then the water pressure does the job, not you. Only cleaning is done with a bucket.

How do you guys do such big water changes?
I have a 2.5g bucket I use to transfer the water and that gets heavy. Do you guys use a different method or something?

Tell me about it. I do 60G on my 220G tank daily! Every monday a 125G water change. It's a real pain in the a#%; but i love my discus! It was just so funny to me how similar your discus are to mine. You have great taste! Lol. P.S. I'm so p@#$ed that i can't find my USB cord!!!!!

Daily water changes for a 600 litre tank would be a BIG problem... At the moment changing 50% twice a week.
Will buy some plants soon to make it look nicer :)

Nice tank. beautiful discus. Needs gravel though. Don't believe everything you read. A little gravel wont hurt your discus as long as you do daily water changes. Keep your eyes peeled for a 220G discus tank with the biggest pirate shipwreck you've ever seen!!!!! Will be posted soon!!!!!
